The iPhone 17 is the first non-Pro iPhone to ship with ProMotion 120Hz as standard. Apple held ProMotion as a Pro-exclusive feature for four generations (iPhone 13 Pro through iPhone 16 Pro), before finally bringing it to the base tier - which is why iPhone 17 feels like a bigger leap than most non-Pro annual refreshes.

Verdict - Pro's premium buys you telephoto camera, ProRes video, +4GB RAM, and USB 3 speeds. Worth it if you're serious about photography/video. For everything else, iPhone 17 saves ₹50,000 and delivers the same daily experience.
